Joerg Linsenmaier named President and CEO of Linde Engineering North America

/PRNewswire/ – The Linde Engineering Board of Directors has appointed Joerg Linsenmaier President and CEO of Linde Engineering North America Inc. (LENA).
 
Mr. Linsenmaier has most recently held the position of Executive Vice President, Central Project Execution at Linde Engineering, headquartered in Pullach near Munich, Germany.  He will continue as Executive Sponsor of several large engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects currently in execution in the United States.
 
Steve Bertone, a member of the Board of Directors, commented, “Joerg’s 26 year tenure within the Linde organization across a broad range of disciplines, plus his proven leadership skills, ability to manage complex projects profitably and on schedule, and experience in the U.S., makes him a good fit for LENA.  With my colleagues on the Linde Engineering board, I have great confidence in his ability to lead the company.”

Mr. Linsenmaier joined Linde in 1988.  From April 1988 to January 2001, he had various assignments in project engineering and project management in Germany and the U.S.  From January 2001 to December 2003, he was Department Manager, Static Equipment and Package Units. 
 
He was Project Director from January 2004 to August 2005, executing a major ethylene plant revamp and reconstruction project in South Africa.  He went on to serve in a number of executive roles:  Vice President of Sales and Project Execution at Selas-Linde GmbH in Pullach; Vice President of Chemical and Gas Plants at Linde Engineering in Dresden, Germany; and Managing Director at the Dresden location.
 
Mr. Linsenmaier holds a Dipl.-Ing (Master of Science) in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
