MamaMancini’s Appoints Matthew Brown as Chief Operating Officer

(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – MamaMancini’s Holdings, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of specialty pre-prepared, frozen and refrigerated “all natural” food products (as defined by the United States Department of Agriculture), announced today that, effective October 24, 2014, Matthew Brown, currently the Company’s President and a member of its Board of Directors, has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Brown will retain the title of President and continue to serve as a member of the Board.
 
Mr. Brown has more than 19 years of experience in the sales and marketing of products in the food industry. Beginning in February 2010 through the present, he has served as President of the Company. From April 2001 until January of 2012, he served as the President of Hors D’oeuvres Unlimited, overseeing the day-to-day operations of their food manufacturing business. From September 1993 through December 1998 Mr. Brown worked as a marketing associate at Kraft Foods, Inc., where he dealt with numerous aspects of the company’s marketing of their food products. Mr. Brown received a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan in 1991 and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1993.
