Energy & Chemical Value Chain

The chemical industry, along with value chain partners across the globe, has been hard at work finding creative ways to drive sustainability forward in a time of disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As industry faces critical times, Chemical Week’s team thought it imperative to take the lead in recognizing this critical work in building a more sustainable future.

Chemical Week’s first annual Sustainability Awards will honor industry’s best efforts in an area that will play an ever-more-important role in the post-pandemic world. Awards will be given in the following categories:

  • Best sustainable product
  • Best sustainability initiative
  • Best sustainability program

The winners will be recognized at Chemical Week’s first annual Financial Outlook and Sustainability Forum, with award presentations on during this unique virtual event on 19 November 2020. The event itself will occur across two days on 18-19 November. Entry submissions for Chemical Week’s 2020 Sustainability Awards are now open, and the deadline for submissions is 1 September 2020. A panel of 12 judges comprising Chemical Week’s internal and external experts with broad and diverse of experience will examine each application to select the shortlist and the eventual winners.

The judging panel will include:
