Premier Foods formalises deal with Nissin

Premier Foods and Nissin Foods Holdings Company have entered into a relationship agreement on terms and conditions, following the announcement by US spices firm McCormick that it was withdrawing its takeover bid for Premier last month.

Campbell’s dropping ‘soup’ as part of transformation

During Investor’s Day, Mick Beekhuizen, EVP and president of Meals & Beverages, said that while soup remains an important part of the company’s portfolio, it accounts for a smaller portion than in the past. CMA to investigate Carlsberg’s £3.3bn acquisition of Britvic

The two beverage giants agreed on the deal in July 2024, after Britvic previously rejected an offer of £3bn (approx. $3.95bn) from the Danish brewer in June. Britvic revealed that Carlsberg’s revised offer had the approval of its board and was expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024, subject to regulatory approvals.
