Bakkavor announces major recruitment push

Prepared produce giant Bakkavor is recruiting for over 300 food manufacturing and management roles to respond to rising demand.

The company is recruiting for various divisions, including for Bakkavor Freshcook, which supplies the meals for the popular M&S ‘Dine In’ promotion.

Roles are available across the UK including in fresh produce heartland Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire, Somerset and Wigan.

Pippa Greenslade, group HR director, said: “Now is a really exciting time for Bakkavor as we continue to grow from strength-to-strength and this is demonstrated by the sheer scale of our recruitment drive.

“The diverse range of roles we have available provides people all around the country with a great opportunity to work in the fast moving and exciting fresh prepared foods industry. We have a wide variety of roles on offer and we look forward to welcoming new people to our team.”

Bakkavor is a leading supplier for own-label brands of major retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Asda.
