Trinseo (Berwyn, Pennsylvania) has named Paula Cooney as senior vice president and chief human resources officer effective 29 November 2021. Cooney, now responsible for all global human resource activities, will be replacing Alice Heezen, who is leaving the company, Trinseo says. As part of the hiring, the chief human resources officer role will move from Switzerland to North America and Cooney will join Trinseo’s executive management team.

Before joining Trinseo, Cooney held the roles of senior vice president of human resources and vice president of human resources and communications at FLIR Systems and H.B. Fuller, respectively.

“I want to thank [Heezen] for the many contributions she has made to Trinseo over the years and wish her the best in her future endeavors. We are thrilled to have [Cooney] join us during this critical moment in our company’s transformational journey to become a specialty solutions provider,” says Frank Bozich, Trinseo president and CEO.
