AB InBev’s Stella Artois has marked its first-ever summer seasonal beer with a limited-edition golden lager made with citrus essences.
Inspired by the longest and sunniest day of the year, Stella Artois Solstice Lager is the brand’s latest seasonal brew to launch and joins limited-edition products such as its Midnight Lager for Halloween.
With a 4.5% ABV and at 105 calories per bottle, the lager reportedly features malty sweetness and zesty citrus notes.
Described as full-flavored and refreshing, the beverage is triple filtered for a smooth, crisp finish.
“We are very excited for people to try what’s soon to be their new favourite beer of summer,” said Lara Krug, VP of marketing at Stella Artois.
She added: “Stella Artois Solstice Lager delivers a little taste of sunshine in a bottle, turning any summertime moment into a special celebration, at a time where summer might not look like the usual.”
From 8 June, Stella Artois Solstice Lager will be rolling out for a limited time across US retailers in 6-pack and 12-pack bottles.
