Sara Lee Frozen Bakery adds to management team

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery has added to its management team with the appointments of Ryan Malone and Wendy Webb Williams as chief marketing officer and chief legal officer, respectively.

Mr. Malone has more than 25 years of experience in the food industry, most recently as senior director of marketing at McCain Foods USA. Prior to McCain he held marketing roles of increasing responsibility at Kellogg Co. and Kraft Foods. He also worked at Kronos Foods and Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group.

He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Illinois State University and a master’s degree in strategy and marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Ms. Williams most recently led the law department for the North America and Europe regions at Mead Johnson Nutrition. Earlier, she was associate general counsel for US Foodservice, Inc., where she supported the merchandising, compliance, operational strategy, employment and government sales functions. Before joining US Foodservice she was part of the corporate services group at McGuire Woods LLP in Baltimore.

She received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland University College.

“Wendy and Ryan bring tremendous depth of experience and leadership to Sara Lee Frozen Bakery, and I am thrilled to have them join the organization,” said Craig Bahner, chief executive officer. “I now have a complete executive leadership team, and we are on our way to leading our iconic brands into a new era.”
