Nestle SA said Tuesday that Steve Presley will succeed Paul Grimwood as market head and chief executive of Nestle USA.

Mr. Presley, who is currently chief finance and strategic transformation officer for Nestle USA, will take over from Mr. Grimwood on April 1, Nestle said.

Mr. Grimwood will continue to serve the business as non-executive chairman of Nestle USA until May 2019, it said. The company said he has served as Nestle USA’s chairman and CEO since 2012 and led the strategic transformation of the business.

Mr. Presley’s replacement as chief finance officer at Nestle USA will be announced at a later date, the company said.

“Steve’s experience will prove invaluable in continuing to pursue new internal and external models to increase the speed of innovation, capitalize on M&A to seed our innovation machine, and create new income streams and capabilities,” Laurent Freixe, Nestle executive vice president and head of Zone Americas, says.
