Memolex, founded in 1986, focusses on the sales and distribution of plastic additives in the French market by representing renowned international suppliers. Like Krahn, Memolex pursues a strong technical sales approach and maintains close relationships to its French customers. The former Memolex team has been transferred to Krahn France so that a smooth continuation and the ongoing development of the business is ensured. The new Krahn France team will be operating from the former Memolex site, which is located in Milly-la-Forêt close to Paris.

“This strategically important acquisition gives us as Krahn Group now the opportunity to expand in the French market. Based on the successful business the Memolex team has established over the last years, we are proud of getting the chance to further developing these activities. I am very happy that we as Krahn Group can – from now on also in the French market – offer our partners the same Krahn service they already know from other countries”, says Axel Sebbesse, Managing Director of the Krahn Chemie group.

“Value for both sides”

“The new affiliation with the Krahn Group provides us with a strong and solid basis for our future business development. I am delighted to be now part of a group which also strongly believes that a deep industry and market knowledge is the key to create value for both sides – our customers and suppliers”, says Franck Louichon, who established the PVC Additives business at Memolex in 1992 and has now joined the management team of Krahn France.
