Snack it Forward strengthens management team

Snack it Forward LLC, a maker of “better for you” snacks, today announced several critical hires, appointing industry veterans to key management roles.

Scott Sturgill, a highly accomplished food & nutrition industry executive with 25+ years of experience, joined the team in January as Chief Product Officer. Scott spent four years bringing the iconic health and wellness brand, South Beach Diet, back to market as their VP of Product Development. He has held executive leadership positions in R&D and Corporate Purchasing at Nellson Nutraceutical, North America’s premier third-party manufacturer of nutrition bars, drink mixes, and healthy snacks. Additionally, Scott has held positions in product development at Mars, Inc. Scott is a Food Scientist, a CIA trained pastry chef, a nutrition and fitness guru, and a self-proclaimed “health foodie.”

David Cosgrove joins the team as Vice President, Finance. David is a Corporate Finance and Accounting executive with 20+ years of experience in private equity-backed and publicly traded companies. He led the Finance, Accounting, IT and Supply Chain Management functions of a high growth energy company as it matured from a private business to a $400 million public entity, and held FP&A and Strategic Planning positions with several large multinational companies such as The Boeing Company, Pacific Energy Partners and Memorial Resources Development. David also provided M&A transaction execution advisory to executive management teams as a Consultant for DLC Inc. He is a former Investment Banker with KPMG Corporate Finance, and is a graduate of the USC Marshall School of Business with a MBA in Corporate Finance.

Kevin Kuehler joins as Vice President Marketing & Insights. He is a Marketing and Sales executive with 20+ year experience in Fortune 500 CPG powerhouses. His CPG pedigree was established managing food, drug and mass sales teams with companies like SC Johnson and Pfizer, followed by Marketing leadership roles at Philips and Mattel. With his domestic and international strategic marketing experience, Kevin brings a wealth of insight generation, product development, brand and shopper marketing expertise across all channels. He holds a Marketing degree from Texas A&M University.
