Thomas Hartle joins OMNOVA Solutions' performance chemicals business unit

/PRNewswire/ – OMNOVA Solutions announced that Thomas Hartle has joined the Company as General Manager, Specialty Coatings & Ingredients (SC&I).

SC&I serves OMNOVA’s global specialty coatings, nonwovens, construction materials, elastomeric modifiers, and home & personal care markets. Under Hartle’s leadership, the SC&I team will apply OMNOVA’s broad capabilities, unique product portfolio and strong value propositions to provide innovative solutions that fulfill customers’ unmet needs and to further accelerate the momentum that has been created in these specialty chemical businesses.

Hartle joins OMNOVA from SABIC in Selkirk, New York, where he held several leadership roles since 2009. He most recently served as Director, North American Sales and Distribution, where he was responsible for leading a commercial organization of nearly 40 sales professionals across many industries. Prior roles with SABIC include Director, Global Noryl Product Management; Director, Global Noryl Product Marketing; Americas Lexan Base Resin Product Manager; and Global Product Manager. Hartle began his career with GE Plastics in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
