Kemira has acquired certain assets of Polymer Services, LLC, a privately owned company, headquartered in Plainville, Kansas.
Polymer Services, LLC is a highly specialized company focusing on field application of polymer gel treatments for enhanced or improved oil recovery, using state of the art equipment to blend, apply and monitor the treatments in the field.
“The Polymer Services, LLC acquisition demonstrates Kemira’s commitment to and continued investment in the oil and gas industry.” says Tarjei Johansen, president, oil and mining segment. “With the acquisition, we are now able to offer not only tailored polymers for gel treatments, but we add the capability to support the oil and gas operators from the design phase through the implementation of the treatment, providing product, equipment and services.”
