Wellness Pet Company has appointed Olivier Fleurot, Ph.D., a former leader at Mars Petcare and S.C. Johnson & Son, as the senior vice president of technical services.
In the newly created role, Fleurot will be responsible for overseeing global R&D, advanced innovation, nutrition, packaging engineering, quality assurance, food safety, and sustainability.
Fleurot most recently served as global VP of research, development, and innovation at S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., where he facilitated sustainable business growth and worked with suppliers, academic partners, and customers to build an effective innovation strategy. Fleurot also spent a decade at Mars Petcare, serving as global VP of science and technology applications, driving global business acceleration and consumer-driven technologies.
Wellness Pet Company is among the largest North America-based independent natural pet food company and is home to pet food brands Wellness, Whimzees by Wellness, Old Mother Hubbard by Wellness, Good Dog by Wellness, and Sojos.
