ABB has been recognized as a Leader for the second consecutive year in the Verdantix Green Quadrant: Asset Performance Management (APM) Solutions 2026 report, which evaluates 19 leading APM software providers across capabilities and market momentum. The analysis is based on a rigorous methodology including a 128-point questionnaire, live product demonstrations and customer interviews.

Industries are under increasing pressure to operate more efficiently and reliably. Asset performance management helps address these challenges by optimizing maintenance, reducing downtime and improving asset utilization. At the same time, APM software has evolved beyond condition monitoring and predictive maintenance to support a more holistic approach to asset performance.

ABB delivers APM software through its Genix APM Suite, built on the ABB Genix platform, combining industrial data management, AI-driven analytics and agentic AI. By enabling contextual integration of data from operational, information and engineering technology systems, it delivers real-time actionable insights that help industrial operators optimize maintenance and improve asset performance.

The Verdantix report highlighted Genix APM as “market-leading APM, backed by robust asset health and broad technical strength,” recognizing its strong capabilities with highest scores across data integration, AI-driven analytics and platform configurability. The firm also noted ABB’s ability to support large-scale deployments across asset-intensive industries, delivering real-time insights and measurable operational improvements. ABB also received top scores for product strategy, reflecting its long-term innovation roadmap and focus on protecting customer investments.

“Advances in AI are reshaping asset performance management, helping industrial customers improve reliability, optimize maintenance and support both specialists and frontline teams in delivering superior value,” said Rajesh Ramachandran, Global Chief Digital Officer, Automation, ABB. “The ABB Genix APM Suite sets the benchmark for scalable APM programs by combining industrial data contextualization with AI and agentic capabilities, accelerating the journey toward increasingly autonomous operations.”

“ABB delivers market-leading APM, backed by robust asset health and broad technical strength, and brings the ability to support global deployments across large asset portfolios. ABB Genix APM also scored highly for multiple technical capabilities, with full scores for data acquisition and integration, AI operations and platform configurability,” said Sayanh Alam, industry analyst, Verdantix.

Proven across asset-intensive industries including energy, utilities, mining and manufacturing, ABB Genix embeds advanced analytical, generative and agent-driven capabilities within its applications. Combined with contextualized industrial data, the solution enables more accurate insights and continuous optimization.
