BENEO Appoints Jon Peters President of BENEO Inc.

BENEO, a leading manufacturer of functional ingredients, announces the appointment of Jon Peters to the position of President of BENEO Inc. He leads the company’s business for the Americas Region (U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America) from the U.S. headquarters in New Jersey.
 
“BENEO’s strong commitment to science, research and technical support has made it a leader in delivering functional ingredients to manufacturers seeking to provide consumers with products that are natural, nutritious, tasty and which also contribute to healthier lifestyles,” Peters said. “This is truly an exciting opportunity to build on BENEO’s already excellent reputation while continuing to expand the organization with an expert team that enhances our value to customers in the Americas region.”
 
Supporting that growth strategy, Peters indicated that BENEO Inc. will continue to emphasize its market-focused approach by building the Americas team to further translate the product portfolio benefits into solutions that meet consumer needs. As an example of this focus, the U.S.-based application technology team has recently been expanded to develop and communicate regional product concepts to the diverse markets of the Americas. Additional sales and nutrition science resources will also be added within the region over the next several months.
 
Peters brings to BENEO diverse experience and proven leadership in a variety of sales, marketing, operations, and management positions, serving for more than 20 years in the human and animal nutrition industries. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Genetics and Cell Biology. Prior to joining BENEO Peters was Senior Director at DSM Nutritional Products, Inc.

Cofer, who will join KDP on 6 November, will work closely with Gamgort while in the capacity of COO.
