Elementis plc (the “Company”), announced that, following a period of discussion, Paul Waterman has agreed with the Board that it is the right time to transition the leadership of Elementis to a new Chief Executive Officer, following his nine years of service. Paul has agreed to remain with the Company until a successor is appointed, and will step down no later than the Company’s Annual General Meeting in April 2025, remaining available as required for any transition or other support until the end of July 2025.
The Board has initiated a process to identify and appoint a successor, and a further announcement in relation to this will be made in due course.

Evonik is implementing a new segment structure and adopting a significantly leaner management model. The company’s business lines, previously grouped into four divisions, will now be led directly by members of the Executive Board.
In August 2024 Kemira announced changes to its operating model and leadership team to better meet its profitable growth ambitions. The design phase of the new operating model and organizational structure started in August and is now completed. The number of Kemira employees will remain approximately the same even if many roles and responsibilities will change.
