Harald Emberger has joined Reckitt as its new chief supply officer, the CPG shared on LinkedIn this week.
Emberger, who was most recently chief supply chain officer at Beiersdorf, will lead Reckitt’s end-to-end supply chain operations, procurement, corporate security, and health and safety functions.
In addition to spending nearly nine years at Beiersdorf, Harald also held senior leadership roles at Unilever and Mars. He’s worked in five different countries across three regions, according to his LinkedIn.
The supply chain was the largest function at Beiersdorf, he wrote in one post, noting the importance of soft skills within it: “Whilst supply chain is often seen as a technical function, it’s truly about human interactions. Soft skills, like communication, collaboration, and trust, are essential.”

Reckitt, the No. 35 publicly owned consumer goods company, operates in more 68 countries across six continents with 40,000 employees. It has an expansive portfolio of hygiene, health, and nutrition brands that includes Dettol, Lysol, Durex, Finish, Enfamil, Mucinex, Nurofen, Nutramigen and Air Wick, among others.
Harald, who is a member of the executive team, will visit Reckitt’s factories and commercial offices around the globe over the next few months, the company said.
Sami Naffakh was previously chief supply officer of Reckitt, a role he took in June 2020. He will depart this month as part of previously announced. move. The company also welcomed a new CEO, Kris Licht, last year.
