Packaging and paper group Mondi plc. Monday said it is acquiring ZAO Uralplastic-N from Joint Stock Company Rusnano and a private investor. The deal is expected to be complete in July 2016.
Uralplastic, with revenues of 29.2 million euros and adjusted EBITDA of 4.7 million euros in the last year, operates one plant near Ekaterinburg, in the Ural region of Russia and manufactures a range of consumer flexible packaging products for food, hygiene, homecare and other applications.

Neste Corp. will collaborate with Dutch terminals operator Tepsa for the storage and handling of liquefied waste plastics at Rotterdam, Netherlands, to enhance Neste’s chemical recycling logistics infrastructure in Europe. Neste said that following successful industrial-scale processing runs at its integrated crude oil refining and petrochemicals site at Porvoo, Finland.
