Lanxess completes sale of membrane business to SUEZ

Specialty chemicals company LANXESS completed the sale of its reverse osmosis membrane business. The business was acquired by French group SUEZ, a world leader in sustainable resource management. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Thus, as of January 1, 2021, the production plant as well as the research facilities in Bitterfeld, Germany, including all employees were transferred to SUEZ.

Borealis is providing Dutch PPE Solutions with renewable PP from its , supporting them in reducing the climate impact of meltblown production.

Contract of Covestro CCO Sucheta Govil extended ahead of schedule

The Supervisory Board of Covestro AG has prematurely extended the contract of Board of Management member Sucheta Govil, which runs until July 2022, by three years from August 1, 2022, to July 31, 2025. Govil has been a member of the Management Board of Covestro since August 2019.
