David Beever to step down from Premier Foods Board

The Board of Premier Foods announces that David Beever has given notice that he wishes to step down as Chairman of the Company during 2017, in order to reduce his work commitments.

By this time he will have spent nine years on the Board of the Company, including five years as Chairman.

The Board will now commence an external search for his successor, led by Ian Krieger, Senior Independent Director.

The Board would like to thank David for his continuing commitment to the business and for the key role he has played in the turnaround of the business. Any further updates on this process will be announced as appropriate.
